For one evening, the Museum will transform itself into a beautiful historic CP Steamship and will bring guests on an unforgettable voyage. The evening will be filled with fine dining, dancing and entertainment. Each level of the Museum will correspond to different ticket classes and the activities will vary accordingly. Ruck up your skirts to a rousing sea shanty in steerage! Toss rings and hunt out CP trivia on the deck. Sip champagne while enjoying some classical music and baccarat in first class. The Maritime Museum of BC proudly presents, CPR Magic Lantern Slides, 1885-1930 &#8211; November 11th, 2010 to March 20th, 2011.</p>
<p>Michael Lawlor and Bill Jeffries, Director of the Simon Fraser University Gallery, have developed a selection of these beautiful CPR Magic Lantern images into a traveling exhibition that is currently touring Canada. The Maritime Museum of BC is honoured to be host to this exhibit of 50 framed prints and will be offering supporting display materials that broaden the railway focus to include CPR water transport and British Columbia scenes.<br />
