Description: Have you ever wanted to create masterful works of art or simply touch up some family pictures?
The Maritime Museum of BC is hosting a Photoshop Beginner’s Workshop every Wednesday and Saturday from March 14th to the 26th. Taught by Photoshop extraordinaire, Mike Routliffe, this beginner’s course is the first step in becoming comfortable using the tools and tricks of Photoshop. Routliffe, a local designer, photographer and video artist, has been serving clients through his company Thornapple Productions for the past 8 years and has been teaching for nearly as long.
The course requirements are basic computer skills and a laptop with Photoshop installed. You will learn the many uses of Photoshop, a walk around of its tools and the art of manipulating an image to create your own visual work of art. As well, the 3 hour long workshop includes a lesson and assignment.
This workshop runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on March 16th, 19th, 23rd and the 26th. Cost is $60.00 per person. To register for any one of the four scheduled workshops, or for more information, please call 250-385-4222, ext. 113. Hurry! Space is limited!
