The Maritime Museum is the proud holder of a rich and diverse collection, which includes approximately 35,000 unique artefacts dating from 1775, 500 works of art, and an extensive archive collection of roughly 100 meters of textual documents. We also hold 35,000 ships’ plans, 2,000 maps and charts, and 40,000 photographs.

Our maritime-focused library collection consists of 8,000 books and Special Collections, as well as numerous periodicals.

The MMBC also has a fleet of three boats, each with unique historical significance to BC.
