Granted a Fellowship at London’s Royal Geographical Society following his expedition, Bill shares firsthand experiences from his excursion. About the Speaker
Vancouver author, poet, songwriter Bill Arnott is the bestselling author of Gone Viking: A Travel Saga (WIBA Awards Finalist and ABF International Book Awards Finalist), and Dromomania: A Wonderful Magical Journey. His work is published in Canada, the US, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia and his column Bill Arnott’s Beat is a feature in magazines around the globe. Bill’s been awarded for prose, poetry,
songwriting and performed at hundreds of events internationally. When not trekking the planet with a small pack, journal, and outdated camera phone, Bill can be found on Canada’s west coast, making friends and misbehaving.
