Welcome Tina Edwards, our new Development Coordinator!
Tina is originally from Smithers, BC, a small northern town located on C’inulh K’it, Cas Yikh (Grizzly House) territory, belonging to the Gidimt’en Clan of the Witsuwit’en (Wet’suwet’en).
She has lived in Victoria, BC, for several years, initially moving to complete her BA at the University of Victoria, dual majoring in Anthropology and Art History.
When she is not at work, Tina is an avid reader (with a particular fondness for fantasy novels) and channels her creativity and love of books into the art of bookbinding. She also enjoys horseback riding, strolls around Victoria’s many parks, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
With a professional background in libraries, art galleries, and other small businesses, Tina brings experience and knowledge to her current role as the Development Coordinator at the Maritime Museum. She cannot wait to dive deep into BC’s maritime heritage!
