Sail Past and Sail Race

Sail Past
The Sail Past occurs every Classic Boat Festival weekend on the Sunday afternoon. Participating vessels leave the Inner Harbour docks to sail by and salute the salute vessel and the Honourary Commodore. The vessels then continue on around Ogden Point to Clover Point, before turning around the re-dock in the Inner Harbour. The public can see all of these amazing boats from Dallas Road. It’s quite the spectacle to see!
Sail Race
When the Sail Past concludes, the sail races start! Classic sailing vessels line up to race between Clover Point and Ogden Point. The best viewing spot is along Dallas Road. Don’t miss your chance to see these beautiful vessels do what they do best!
