Visit the Museum virtually with our new LIVE virtual field trips!!
Are you a school teacher looking for an interactive way to complement your teaching?
Do you teach from home and are looking to engage your children in fun, learning-focused activities?
The Maritime Museum of BC has gone virtual with many of our learning programs! We are now able to bring our collections and learning to students, teachers, and families both in Victoria, British Columbia and throughout the rest of the province and country.
Our virtual field trips have been designed using the British Columbia curriculum, and adapted for a virtual format using everything we know about learning online. They bring history to life by creating an interactive and fun way for youth to engage, learn, and explore! Each program offers interactive discussions, engagement with one of our educators, and artifact exploration. We have highlighted which programs best suit various grade levels and ages, but this does not limit you to that program. Feel free to take in any of these programs, regardless of age or grade level! All of the below programs are available for private booking.
