Can you feel the momentum building?
As we approach the end of 2025, it’s only getting busier at the Maritime Museum of BC.
Early autumn saw record-breaking admissions, bringing our annual total to over 7,000 visitors from near and far—and there is still a month and a half to go!
- New and familiar holiday programs like rope wreathmaking and linocut card printing are booking up;
- Our 1858: Black Routes, Black Roots exhibit in collaboration with the BC Black History Awareness Society now fills the gallery with the maritime stories of Black settlers arriving in Victoria aboard the SS Commodore;
- The swell of public excitement for digital collections like Nauticapedia underscores the impact of ongoing projects to preserve, catalogue, and digitize our collections and archives.
It won’t be slowing down in 2026. Will you come aboard this year-end with a gift?
