Explore

The Maritime Museum of BC offers a wide variety of opportunities for the public to explore our nautical history and ocean sciences. From rotating exhibits to special events, there’s always something happening!

Exhibits

We rotate our exhibits two to three times a year. Our Gallery space also rotates throughout the year and usually features BC maritime themed artists. Visit us regularly to take in all that BC’s maritime history and culture has to offer!

Collections and Research

Our collections include objects, a library, and archival materials–all of which are available to the public for research. Contact us to set an appointment for research.

Learning

We offer interactive programs for all demographics! Most of our programs and workshops are available for on-site delivery at the Museum, and off-site at schools, senior residences, and community centres.

Events

We host events throughout the year including our Nautical Nights speaker series, Salt Sea Evenings, the Massive Marine & Outdoor Garage Sale, Crabtoberfest, and the Victoria Classic Boat Festival. Check out our events calendar for details.
