The Maritime Museum of BC’s
Salty Singers

Who Are the Salty Singers?
Formed in 2024, the Salty Singers are the Maritime Museum of BC’s volunteer chorus, sharing the energy and spirit of sea shanties and Songs of the Sea with audiences across Victoria and the surrounding region. This four-part chorus of 16–20 voices performs a repertoire of over 20 well-known songs celebrating maritime heritage from Canada’s East and West Coasts and from seafaring traditions around the world. Catch them at festivals, community events, and MMBC celebrations.
