Salty Sing-a-long: Sea Shanties & More

Sing Your Heart out!

The Maritime Museum of BC’s first Salty Sing-a-long: Sea Shanties and More! will be in the Auditorium at St. Ann’s Academy (835 Humboldt Street) on Wednesday, June 28th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

Local a cappella sensations Chasing Sirens will enthrall the crowd with familiar tunes and deep dives into shanties. The Greater Victoria Police Chorus will then take to the stage with their signature sound: vocalists, drum, keyboard, and accordion.

Salty Sing-a-long events header

This is an all-ages event. There will be beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beer and pop available for purchase. Please bring two pieces of photo ID if you plan to consume alcohol.

Accessibility

The Auditorium at St. Ann’s Academy has some accessibility features. Entrances and exits are on street level; aisles accommodate wheelchairs and power chairs, and there is a single-stall washroom on the same level. St. Ann’s Academy has only paid parking, but there is extensive street parking in the surrounding area.
